In conjuction with the members of The Exhibition Golf Society we hold regular events and support our locals to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We have done parachute jumps, head shaving, moustache growing, weight losing, marathon running, meat raffles, guess the babies weight & date and football scrath cards. We’ve rowed the river Ouse for 12 hours, we’ve partied, held coffee mornings and eaten cake all for charity!
Since 2005 we have raised over £54,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Solanki Opticians, Huntingdon have raised over £350
With two days still to go before the Godmanchester Fun Run we wanted to give a big shout out to Solanki Opticians in Huntingdon who have raised over £350 on their justGiving page for Macmillan by taking part in the Fun Run!
They joined the Exhibition’s JustGiving team to support us & Macmillan. The charity is important to them because they are running in memory of a lovely woman and work colleague, Pet Smith, who died of cancer last year.
Umesh & Jill Solanki, Rachel Avery, Helen Newman and Helen’s daughter Ella are all running on Sunday. We wish them all the best and thank them and everyone who has sponsored them for their valuable support to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Dave’s Charity Haircut is this Sunday at 3pm.
Dave Newell is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support by having his head shaved and moustache removed all to raise money for The Exhibition Golf Society’s annual support of Macmillan.
So far the Golf Society based here have raised over £45,000 for Macmillan and Dave is hoping to add £1200 to this years efforts. The haircut will take place in the bar of The Exhibition on Sunday April 10th at about 3pm.

Godmanchester pub raising money for Macmillan
The Exhibition Pub in Godmanchester is still raising money for Macmillan. This time it’s local Dave Newell that is stepping up to volunteer his hair and moustache in exchange to raise over £1100.
The Exhibition Pub and Golf Society in Godmanchester have raised over £45,000 for Macmillan over the years. The Pub hosts all sorts of events that help to raise cash for the great work Macmillan do.
