The Three Horseshoes Inn in Offord D’Arcy

The Offord Shoe has a reputation around St. Neots for great Sunday Lunches and I have to say when I popped in their one Sunday afternoon the place was packed and the food smell was amazing.

The Three Horseshoes or The Shoe can be found by leaving Godmanchester on West Street, passing The Swan in Offord Cluny which is located just before the level crossing to Buckden. As you head into Offord D’Arcy you’ll find this historic pub & restaurant on your right hand side.

Godmanchester’s new Indian restaurant?

The windows of what was, Alis Tandoori Indian Restaurant, on The Causeway have been whitewashed and the rumours on facebook are that work has started on the new look Indian restaurant.

We will have to wait and see if the rumours are true. We’ll keep Phillip from Gatehouse Estates up the road on the look out!

Good food near A14 Huntingdon

Our web bloke tells us that people are searching Google for good places to stop for food near Huntingdon and are searching for A1 & A14 Huntingdon food or nice places to stop & eat.

Well here we are:

The Exhibition is a nice pub that serves good food and it’s just off the A14 at Godmanchester, near Huntingdon.

If you are heading South on the A1(M) from Peterborough follow the signs to Huntingdon & Cambridge (A14) and the dual carraigeway takes you over Huntingdon and alongside Godmanchester. Just put PE29 2HZ into your sat nav or click here for a map

If you are travelling along the A14 eith to the M1/M6 junction or the other way over to Felixstowe then we are a great place for the whole family, we are dog friendly too and have an enclosed garden the dogs can stretch their legs in.
