Thank you for completing the online job application form.
We’ll be in touch soon.
It all started on a rooftop in Kathmandu in the sunshine with a few beers shortly after Paul & Phillip had trekked to Everest Base Camp.
‘Why don’t we drive a Tuk Tuk to Tossa de Mar in Spain?’
Crazy idea, a bit like the one that had got them to Kathmandu in the first place but ‘To Tossa in a Tuk Tuk’ was born and there was no turning back…
A quick trip down to the Tuk Shop in Eastleigh and the boys had got the vehicle, the 200cc Piaggio Ape City in blue. Mr Steve kindly delivered the beast to Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes where it sat proudly alongside Daniel Ricciardo’s RB12 F1 race car.
This is what the Tuk Tuk looks like now our friends at Red Bull Racing have worked their magic…
Proudly introducing the RB Tuk Tuk 001 ready for its journey to Spain on Monday 7th May 2018.
The journey will me made to fundraise, as always, for Macmillan Cancer Support.

In conjunction with the members of The Exhibition Golf Society we hold regular events and support our locals to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We have done parachute jumps, head shaving, 24 hour walks, moustache growing, desert trekking, weight losing, abseiling, marathon running, bike rides to France, meat raffles, guessed the babies weight & date and football scratch cards. We’ve rowed the river Ouse for 12 hours, we’ve partied, played golf, climbed mountains, walked on hot coals, played blackjack, driven across Europe, held coffee mornings and eaten cake all for charity!
|YEAR||AMOUNT RAISED||CUMULATIVE TOTAL|
The Exhibition are proud to have received a 2016 Certificate of Excellence from tripadvisor.com
We have won one of these every year since 2013 so are happy that we now have a 2016 to add to the growing collection. Since our first award in 2013 we have had a few team changes both in the kitchen and front of house, it’s fabulous that we have carried on the good work being recognised by our valuable customers. Thank you to everyone who works with us and everyone who chooses to spend their time & money with us.
We now offer gift vouchers so you can treat friends & family to food and drink with us.
The vouchers can be made for any amount you choose, so if it’s £4 for a pint, £18.50 for a bottle of our special Prosecco or £500 for a big family night out it doesn’t matter.
If you are overseas and have family locally then this might be a great way to treat them, call us and pay over the phone and we’ll post the voucher for you.
Ladies I’ve noticed over the last couple of years that a lot of you who visit The Exhibition are quite keen on Prosecco!!!
So in early October I went to Trevisio, in north eastern Italy were I visited several wineries in the hope of finding a unique & high quality Prosecco for all of those who drink it at The Exhibition.
Well the good news is that I found one!
Check out the map & it will show you Refrontolo which is the area that the wine comes from
The Prosecco I chose is from a small family run winery called Cantina Bernardi…..what a fantastic place & the people couldn’t have been more hospitable.
The effort this family run winery puts into their wine making is beyond obsession & it shows in their end product.
It’s a fantastic dry wine with a fruity yet fresh clean finish….you’ll love it!
I look forward to seeing you at The Exhibition soon.

8th November 2013 – We have a car!
Paul & Phillip drove up to Blackburn yesterday and collected this beauty. It’s a 1999 Peugeot 406 1.9D LX with a cool 122,000 miles on the clock. £400 well spent.
28th November 2013
We have had our first donations to Macmillan Cancer Support!
Thank you very much. www.justgiving.com/tallinn
2nd January 2014
Not long to go now, I’d like to say that the final preparations are now underway but we are not that organised!
4th January 2014
Huntingdon Performance Tyres in Godmanchester are kindly fitting our winter tyres to the Peugeot today. All the posts to this page whilst we are away will be done from a phone with no spell check so our apolgies now for spelling errors.
6th January 2014 – 5am
We are off, the Taxi has departed for Tallinn, the meter is running…
Paul is at the wheel with his new driving glasses on, Graham is asleep in the back and we’ve got 5 hours to get to the channel tunnel.
6th January – 10am
We’ve made it to the channel tunnel!
6th January – 3pm
So all is good, we have been through France, into Belgium and we are now in Holland heading towards the German border.
6th January – 4:30pm
Stuck in a German traffic jam and the car is overheating a bit and it’s getting dark. Could be a long way to Berlin.
6th January – 10pm
German autobahns are the best roads in the world, sadly we are in a 15 year old car that only had 90bhp when it left the factory. Still we have arrived in Berlin and rather than drive straight past and onto Warsaw we decided we’d have a nose around.
7th January – very early
After seeing the remaining section of the Berlin Wall and a quick chat with the local constabulary we headed back onto the Autobahn and into Poland. We have now arrived in Warsaw, it’s cold and nowhere is open yet!
7th January – 4:30pm
What a day… Started nicely with a very cold wander around Warsaw but just before we thought we were crossing the border into Lithuania we were pulled over for speeding and had to do a “deal” with the Polish police, all helped by the fact that Paul didn’t bring his driving license or the car documents! 100 Zlotti’s later we found that we were at the border with Belarus and had to turn around anyway!
It’s been a very long day, we are now 200km from Latvia and need sleep. We’ve driven 1523 miles almost non stop since Monday. This does not feel like a jolly!
Thanks to everyone who has kindly donated to Macmillan on www.justgiving.com/Tallinn
Wednesday 8th – 1pm
Nearly in Latvia but we’ve just found out the spare tyre is nearly as flat as the one we need to change!
Wednesday 8th – 4pm
Made it to Riga, nearly had a collision with a tram, parked in the middle of a market and scared some pedestrians but we are here. Parked up now, booked into a very dodgy hotel and off to see what the city has to offer.
Thursday 9th January – 2pm
We had a quiet night in Riga and set off this morning for our final leg up to Tallinn. We are already €40 down after another run in with the police but should be in Tallinn by 5pm. Last night we met our taxis Latvian brother.
Thursday 9th – 5:30pm
We have arrived! We are here in the centre of Tallinn – time for a celebratory beer!
Thanks to everyone for your support, we have raised a huge amount of money for Macmillan. We have driven that poor car over 1900 miles in four days, she managed 100mph on a downhill stretch of autobahn and was pulled over by the police three times!
It’s too dark now to take any photos so we’ll take some in the morning.
